The St. Louis Ragtimers LIVE 20th Anniversary Video

A very early VHS recording of the Band that brought Ragtime back to St. Louis.  Of all the video ever done with this group, this is the most honest portrayal of the fun, the love of the music and the serious fans who throw an Anniversary after party for the 1981 Goldenrod Festival.  While a small concert ensemble, the Ragtimers excel as a bar band.  This was a lost treasure from Don Franz's archives, that no one had ever seen. This video has been sepia toned, adapted for wide screen in 480p mp4 video (which is about as good as you can make VHS).  The audio in The Captain's Bar is better than audio from the main theater of the Showboat.  The joint was jumpin. The polyester was hot but so was the jazz. Mix some drinks and enjoy.
