"The St. Louis Ragtimers LIVE 1979" Album

This group was together for just over 50 years.  This live recording, probably by the tuba player in the group, Don Franz was lost for more than 25 years in his garage studio/museum.  This performance is a perfect set of music when they were in their prime and celebrating a 20th Anniversary on their beloved Goldenrod Showboat, in the Mississippi River, beneath the Arch in St. Louis.  There were quite a few white groups restoring the Ragtime heritage at that time but none better than this St. Louis group that emphasized the Riverboat and Traditional Styles of the genre.  They were having fun and it shows in the music.  11 tracks
